Summary

The SHERPA project has developed a MOOC (Massively Open Online Course) called “Empowering your school´s digital capacity: from reflection to innovation action plans” ("SELFIE PTK MOOC" for short) that is designed as a learning path for school coordinating teams to help their school further their digital capacity using the SELFIE self-reflection tool, SELFIE Helper and SELFIEPTK tools. The MOOC is available to the entire SELFIE community, who can use it as a self-paced course and open learning resource and is also supporting participants in SHERPA project piloting activities.

We provide you, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 "General Data Protection Regulation" (hereinafter "GDPR") and Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 "Personal Data Protection Code", with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

Purposes and methods of processing

Your personal data will be processed only to the extent that they are indispensable in relation to the objective of the Project, in compliance with the provisions of the regulations in force regarding the protection of personal data and in accordance with the provisions of the general authorisations of the Guarantor Authority for the protection of personal data. The data will be used to enable enrolment in the course, the sending of communications relating to training activities and the possible issue of a certificate of participation.

All protection measures indicated in the data protection regulations and applicable legislation are implemented. Your data will be processed exclusively by the Data Controller and/or by people authorised within the scope of the implementation of the Project, with automated and non-automated tools, exclusively to allow the fulfilment of the aforementioned purpose and all related operations and activities.

The data will be processed using computer and telematic tools, with the logic of organisation and processing of your data correlated to the purposes indicated above and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee security and confidentiality.

Legal basis of the processing

The processing of your personal data is carried out by the Data Controller as part of the performance of its public interest tasks in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR.

Period of data retention

The data collected during the Project will be recorded, processed and stored until the purposes of the Project are achieved and in any case not later than 2 years after the project closure, always in compliance with the "Deontological rules for processing for statistical or scientific research purposes", published pursuant to Article 20, paragraph 4, of Legislative Decree No. 101- 19 December 2018 (published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale No. 11 of 14 January 2019).

However, in compliance with the aforementioned legislation, the results may be used anonymously for scientific dissemination.

Nature of data provision

The provision of your data for the above-mentioned research purposes is indispensable for the performance of the Project and does not derive from a regulatory and/or contractual obligation. Failure to provide data will make it impossible to participate in the Project.

However, the CNR-ITD, in compliance with the Deontological Rules for processing for statistical or scientific research purposes published pursuant to art. 20, paragraph 4, of Legislative Decree no. 101 of 10 August 2018 - 19 December 2018, are entitled to share with the scientific community, for research purposes, aggregates, statistics, results of analysis in anonymised form. These results may be used anonymously for scientific dissemination.

Recipients of data and possible transfer abroad

The data will not be communicated to other subjects outside the EU.

Rights of the data subject

In your capacity as a Data Subject and participant in this Project, you have the rights set forth in Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR and in particular: access to your personal data, rectification, integration, cancellation, limitation of processing concerning you and you have the right to object to their processing.

To exercise these rights, you may contact the Data Controller or the Platform Coordinator, at the addresses indicated above.

The right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data remains unaffected.
